Y Gegin
Y Gegin is a farmhouse-style kitchen in the converted stone shed which is probably the original building at Treffynnon, with the house being added later.
The luxury fitted kitchen includes a four oven Aga; a wonderful cooking machine. But be warned, many visitors having cooked on an Aga for the first time, leave with plans to re-model their house in order to fit one.
There is also a microwave, built-in larder fridge/freezer, butler sink and ample work top space. A large breakfast table seats six and there’s a high-chair for toddlers.
The kitchen is equipped with plenty of high quality pans, knifes and utensils so cooking for a crowd is no problem.
The kitchen door opens on to the south facing patio, (a real sun trap) and secluded garden, with views of Carn Ffoi. This is the place for breakfast on sunny mornings.
